Past Work

My works theme is the human form, human spirit, emotion & movement through Ceramic Sculpture.

The beauty of using the human figure for my work is that it is a form with which we can all relate, thus encouraging us to view the sculpture from the inside out.  In so doing I hope to create an empathy or reaction to the work

All of the sculptures are made using earthenware paper clay and coloured with slips and oxides. I particularly enjoy my wall-mounted pieces, which are hung on separate metal brackets.
